UK 2023 – Clean Planet Peninsula

The Clean Planet Peninsula project is a multi-year initiative to provide early career polar scientists with scientific research expeditions in the polar regions between 2024 – 2026.

In 2023, successful applicants undertook polar training in the UK to prepare themselves for the future Arctic and Antarctic conditions.

About Antony Jinman

Antony Jinman is a British polar explorer, environmentalist, and founder of “Education Through Expeditions.” He completed expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic, including a solo ski journey to the South Pole. His dedication to environmental education has earned him an Honorary Doctor of Education from the University of the West of England and an Honorary Sporting Colour from Plymouth University. Antony also works as an Expedition Leader for Swan Hellenic.
